A Pinterest Business account, with its website claimed.
Five steps to a business account whose Pins lead somewhere: a profile, a claimed website, a few boards and the first Pins.
Before you start
Three things,
ready first.
- A business e-mail addressTo sign up for a business account, or to switch an existing account to one.
- A website you can editClaiming it means proving it is yours, with a tag, a file or a DNS record.
- A logo and a few board themesA square logo, and one theme per board with a name of up to 50 characters.
The steps
Step by step,
in this order.
Pinterest is the channel where a picture's job is to send people somewhere, so the order matters: the website comes before the boards, and the boards before the Pins.
- 1Create a business accountSign up for a business account, or switch an existing one in its settings, and choose the username and the name.
- 2Fill in the profileAdd the About text and the profile picture. The website address goes in the profile's website field; claiming that website comes next.
- 3Claim the websiteIn the account's settings, claim the business's website, so Pins that lead there carry its name. Pinterest asks you to prove the site is yours with a tag, an uploaded file or a DNS record.
- 4Make the first boardsMake a board for each theme, with a cover and a name of up to 50 characters. A Pin always goes to a board that exists.
- 5Save the first PinsCreate Pins that introduce the business, each with a title, a description, a link back to your site and alt text for its picture.

With FABLS
Then connect it,
and pick a board.
In FABLS, connect Pinterest on Channels, then choose the board new Pins go to; a single post can override it. FABLS publishes picture Pins to that board at the slot's time once a person has approved them, with a title, a description, alt text and a link in the Pin's own link field.
The setup guide in the app follows these steps. Once the account is connected, its Check the live profile button reads what Pinterest shows and ticks the steps it proves.
Plain about it: FABLS publishes picture Pins only, cannot take a Pin down, and does not read Pin numbers, so the report shows none for Pinterest.
Questions
Quick answers.
Why claim my website?
So Pins that lead to your site carry its name, and Pinterest knows the site is yours.
Do I have to make the boards first?
Yes. A Pin goes to a board that exists: make the boards on Pinterest, then choose one for the channel in FABLS.
What size is a Pin?
1000 × 1500 px, a tall picture in the proportion 2 to 3. The sizes page has the rest.

Same shape, same order.
Each one is a short list of steps, the numbers you will be asked for and an honest word on what FABLS does there.
Do the steps once.
Let the kit do the typing.
FABLS's setup guide for Pinterest is in the app: open Channels, then Set up a profile. It fits your words to Pinterest's limits, draws the profile picture and the board covers and gives you three first posts.
